Re: How to view and edit (in browser) an installed script?

You've installed the script as native chrome extension. This is shown at the "Type" column.
That's why you can't see its code. You have to disable the chrome extension and reinstall the script it into Tampermonkey.

Just click at the script name or the edit action icon at the right.

Re: Execute script automatically AND display context menu

You can use GM_registerMenuCommand for this purpose. I do have the plan to add menu commands to the context menu as well, but no timeline yet.

Re: Development Mode

Local file access is possible with Firefox. You just have to set "Allow scripts to access local files" to either "All local files" or "Externals". This setting is the counterpart to Chrome's "Allow access to file URLs" so that scripts don't have local file access by default.

Re: Development Mode

You can already achieve that. Copy the script header of your script to Tampermonkey and add an additional @require to the copy at your local server. Then select the settings and set "Externals" > "Update Interval" to "Always". Please use this only in development mode. BTW: you can also point the @re...

Re: Cannot re-enable TM notifications

Ah OK, so I misunderstood the question.

However, Tampermonkey detects that the notification failed to be created and uses a simple confirm box in case the notification was a "question" and not purely informational.

I'm glad to hear that, because I don't have a ChromeOS device to play with. :)

At picture 3, please use the import button at the "Zip" and not the "File" section.

Re: Transfer installed script to additional users

You can export your scripts to a text file which contains a JSON document or a zip file. Which option did you use? Are you sure you've tried the corresponding import button?

If you export all scripts to a zip file, then you can extract it and manually install the scripts (*.user.js files).

Re: don't working any scripts

Hi, script execution seems to work fine here. Can you please check the background and the page console for errors?
