Is it possible to read google drive data in script?

Post by Tim » 14.06.17 20:33:38

Hi,

I wrote a script and want to get user's configure data from cloud server like google drive. Is it possible for script to get the auth from user.js as your TESLA function?

Thanks.

Not via Tampermonkey itself. But you can include the Google Drive JavaScript library and implement this by your own:
https://developers.google.com/drive/v3/ ... ckstart/js

Yes, it is possible, i did it but i dont recommend.

i used the tag '@required' in my script using the google JS file, something like:

Code: Select all

@required https://developers.google.com/drive/v3/ ... ckstart/js
At first i was happy because it worked well, then one day I needed to upgrade the Script, so i made the change in the drive's file expecting that Tampermonkey would recognize the change but it did not happened, i searched about and discovered that Tampermonkey downloads the Script .js just one time and then save it in the Folder Script (that was i discovered by searching), it wasn't good to me becauseI was trying to centralize the script for my friends, so when i did some update in Script i would not need do change their tampermonkey Scripts, but i didn't work well using by this way.
So i posted my Userscript in (https://greasyfork.org/pt-BR) to version my Script and edit just in one place.
